Pagan Dawn is predominantly Jonothan Hochman - and this release was mostly recorded in Berlin. Hypnotically layered synth and guitar loops, perpetuated by the Dawns vocal harmonies and chanting... reminiscent of Eno absurdities and Clusters clean, austere early recordings. Cover painting by Sydney artist Anna Kristensen

6majik9 ritualisimo putrido
Gathering around a glowing moment…intent on discovery but distracted by the glorious light that seeps from the merging…so a record is kept to remind of the things thought seen, seen heard. Employing something closer to the sound as it grew, avoiding the clamour of the magnetics and spools…now a binary spectre from a mirrored laugh…wasted but pretty .comes in a hard card gatefold with hand painted (by the band) canvas stick on.
One of the major risks faced by a spacecraft stems from the high level of vibration submitted during essential spacecraft components the shakers are coupled to a dual head expander for tests in the vertical axis and to a large slip under similar conditions to ensure that it will be able to withstand the launch and arrive, in orbit, in perfect condition. Vibrations in the three orthogonal axes of the spacecraft is the case for the dual-head expander.Weirdo hand made art sleeves with insert.
inhibitionists – concession strings
From Christian Kann, head honcho at BSBTA , comes this gorgeous collection of abstract sonic assemblages. Spiralling plumes and sheeting alien blasts lay out like the rooms in some grand mansion, filled with fuzzy visions and cloudy memories…broken music built into dark places…making for a deeply immerse and rewarding journey.Comes with artwork by the inhibitionists and felt innards.
bOTOs – chimes against reality
Second breath of the occultists. alchemical dispersal and hex dilution. Features one member each from brothers of the occult sisterhood, terracid and 6majik9…formation like a triangle but with fewer angles, a single point.Drifting outsider strum and trance while watching the suns light fade and the colors shift…then inside amongst the cables and fields, under a flowers thought…free jizz?
Blank Realm- free time
Out of our nor eastern sparkling sea city comes damaged free psych swim and spaced out inward clean streams of meaning nothing is everywhere all the time , the way this one rolls from the out it is more space than signifier , all growling gentle sines and filters , building their temple a wide mind upon waves of schism and perfect void.
Formerly Bad Tables - Sydneys Lamp Puffer is the solo electronically drive forces of Matthew Hopkins (Naked on the Vague, Vincent over the Sink). Glowbes is the newest release on Melbournes Inverted Crux label. This release strikes a chord somewhere between The Domestic Lid (Spanish Magic) and the earlier Food and Youth Tape (Choochabahn)... sprawling jams meet creepy vocals and song sensibilities. As described by Matthew - Lamp Puffer is a ..wobbly kind of electronicaelectronica made on a 4track tape machine in a non linear kind of way. .

Trapdoor Tapes is an amazing label run outta the Sunshine Coast, QLD, they pump out releases every thirty seconds (exaggeration) in tiny runs (eg. three or five or two). TT011 - BONG VILLAGE HAIR MACHINE CASSETTE
Excellent guitar and drum jams - totally free forming, something a little early sonic youth esque bout the timbres here - other wise loose, bluesy, good. Three track release. Second track has an altered recording which makes it sound like a space vacuum remix, which is good.
Brutal. always butal trapdoor. This is the sound of youth. Three - four piece banging out some kind of no wave purge with all gear turned up plenty loud. Sound dweller drop in and out of rhythms and cohesian like they should. Good punk.
TT034 - EMESIS/SCISSOR SPLIT CASSETTE
Emesis is huge echo and ambience and hypnotic like. Scissor is sharp, close and brutal and highly electronic. Together - it makes a lot of sense. Space explored from different proximities - to yr ear. Please listen EMESIS and SCISSOR. Dubbed on sunshine yellow hand painted yellow tape.
Emsis is Sam Witek. Scissor is Blake. Both Trapdoor members.

PULLED OUT RECORDS (sydnay)
Run out of Sydney by the most respectable Nick Dan (member of xNoBBQx - blues driven catastrophy two piece with Matt Earle)
The Sydney quartet of Anthony Guerra, Matt Earle, Sumugan Sivanesan and Nick Dan summon the evil spirits in this documented live ritual that runs the gamut from Neu! metal pummel to sinecore minimalism. The world seems to collapse as the goddess soma brings white light that strips any tangible object of meaning. Echoing mantras of dark energy channelled outwardly via an omnidirectional spill of force fed feedback.Limited edition of 275 on one sided hot pink vinyl with etching by Rizili. Includes insert print on thick pink card with individually hand numbered silk screened pink on black covers.
The Spiders PULLLP05
Australia is known to be the home of some of the deadliest spiders in the world & James Heighway is no exception. When not behind the drum kit in XWAVE James collects and modifies ancient electronics. These are The Spiders, a unique blend of broken, hacked, modified and recycled guitars, keyboards, effectors, mixers, etc all played simultaneously. Together the sound expressed conveys a feeling of the bush drenched in feedback.
James's intense live performances have him known as king of noise throughout the region. Others have dubbed him Merzbow of the Mountains. This LP collects hilights from limited edition cdrs and cassettes previously released on Moth Noize (James' own label) & a live performance at the 3rd Winter Tragic festival.
Limited edition of 300 on white vinyl with individually spray painted covers by the artist.
xnobbqx throw a few snags on the barbie for this prime slab of high art.
Your stomach may be rumbling at first glance of this delectable picture disc...but don't be fooled..
xnobbqx tear the place apart like 100 rookie cops high on sugar and caffeine having mistaken your bbq block party for the meth lab down the street, by the time they realize (end of the first side) it's pork buns & sausage sandwiches all round. but where's the cheese? after the second half cooked curried sausage you wont even care that you cant score any more, cuffed against the wall begging them to turn it over for another blast...-pulledout.org
Taking their name from Meat & Livestock Australia propaganda the Melbourne based duo of Ein and Aus transgress a spiritual reality in which grindcore is subverted towards a path of procratinat-obliteration. 46 cranial fracturing songs featuring wailing banshee vocals, a drum machine set to over 300bpm and a possesed 20th century shredder guitarist. On stage, the couple use chainsaws, exploding corpses, and other visual devices to communicate their ideas about domestic violence and civil disobedience. UnAustralians truly represent the extremely brutal end of improvised music in Australia.Limited edition of 300 on clear red vinyl. Comes with a bonus DVD or video download (customers outside Australia) of live performances.
Following on from their 2007 New Zealand tour triple lathe cut LP, and 6 cassette boxset on Breakdance The Dawn, comes Farben Raum, the debut CD by Sun of the Seventh Sister. This floating line-up, mushroom fuelled free-psych woolly mammoth often consists of a phalanx of between 10 and 25 players: multiple drummers, multiple electrified chordophones, horns, vocals, oscillators etc. Imagine half a dozen freak-folk ensembles congealing into a psychedelic din of Borbetomag-ian proportions.
Unborn Unicorn LP $20
Bay Arean AARON COYES (MUMMERS EYPE, HEART OF SNOW, GROMSKULL, HISSEATERS and the Common Oracles label) fills your psych-folk-fuzz cochlea with echoes of Beefheart, Velvets, Spacemen 3, Dead C, and Kenneth Higney. Limited edition, imported from the big island of Australia**, handmade recycled classical jackets. - myspace.com/heardworserecords ps. amazing but very lengthy review from Siltblog HERE
